Top designers set to shine at London Fashion Week thanks to sponsorship

Fashion Forward is reported to have awarded a sponsorship to top designers Michael van der Ham, Holly Fulton and the ever brilliant David Koma to be part of next month’s Fashion Week in London. The Fashion Council of Britain proclaimed that the three designers mentioned thereat for womenswear will be supported for two successive fashion seasons, that is for autumn and winter 2013, with the full support from eBay’s Fashion store.

Fashion Forward, the initiative behind the support to the three great designers, was instituted in 2009 and it is dedicated to help Britain’s womenswear designers to develop their business as well as grow their brands in London. For British designers to be supported by the company, they are required to have been at NewGen for some time. After that each will be assessed by a panel of judges. This year, Paula Reed of Harvey Nichols, Melanie Smallwood and the ever popular Caroline Rush are members of the panel.

When Ms. Rush was asked about the latest designers that were awarded by Fashion Forward’s support, she expressed her delight at the three designers and congratulated them saying that the three got their due. In addition, she said that she saw the same three go through the ranks at NewGen. The three might be feeling pressured right now as Ms. Rush added that she is looking forward to the products that will be featured at the Fashion Week at London come February.

The brilliant David Koma likewise expressed his delight for having been handed the trust by the Fashion Council of Britain. He also added that he will grab this opportunity to take his line of clothing to a new fashion level. Fashion Forward had its fair share of popularity as it helped numerous British designers in developing and growing each one’s fashion line in the market.
